International students who plan to enroll at Hiroshima University and meet one of the following criteria
Newly arrived in Japan
International students who are not enrolled at Hiroshima University at the time of application

Acceptance Period
　Recommended apartments 1st round: 2025.2.22 - 2025.3.4
　Additional recommended apartments: Accepted anytime after 2025.3.5

Only one apartment can be selected (even the room number can be specified).
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

　If you wish to change the room, please cancel the room you have applied for and then re-apply.
The room you have applied for will be confirmed at the end of the application period.
After the application period is over, you will not be able to change or cancel your room application. Please apply after you are sure of your enrollment and departure date.
Please note that rooms may be added or changed during the application period.
Applications received after March 3, 2025, can be cancelled only on the day of application.
　Please note that once a room is confirmed on the day following your application, it cannot be cancelled.
Before moving in, you are required to subscribe to a co-op and insurance. Please sign up at the pre-occupancy orientation meeting.
　(Co-op contribution: 2,000 yen, insurance for international students: 8,160 yen (for one year))

Please note that you will be obliged to pay a cancellation fee equivalent to one month's rent if any of the following apply
(Before moving in) Cancellation after your application is confirmed and before you move in.
(After moving in) Cancellation between April and June, or between October and December.
Please apply for this accommodation only if you are sure of your move-in date and move-in date (after you are sure).

When moving in, you will receive an explanation of precautions and be required to join the co-op and insurance.
Those who attend the orientation before moving in will receive a key to the dormitory.
Please be sure to apply in advance to attend.

All recommended apartments are for single occupancy. They cannot be shared with family members.
The apartments are managed by the Hiroshima University Co-op and support is available in both English and Japanese during your stay.
You can stay in the apartment for as long as you are enrolled at Hiroshima University (no change in rent, no renewal procedures, no renewal fees, etc.). (No change in rent, no renewal procedures, no renewal fees, etc.)
Smoking is not allowed.
No pets allowed.
Please take off your shoes inside the room (no shoes with dirt floors).
