Each room is equipped with the following facilities. Please bring your own tableware, cooking utensils, and bedding.

If you do not meet the eligibility requirements, you will not be able to apply.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of rooms available, the university will make a selection.
If the number of applicants exceeds the number of rooms available, the university will select the applicants. (However, this is for singles only. There are no rooms for couples or families.)

International House【Couple's room (bldg.B /International students)】
(1)Application requirement
(1) International students who will be enrolled at Hiroshima University in October 2025. (2) For Married Couple/Family Rooms, in principle, all the persons listed on the application form must be able to move in at the time of moving in.
For Married Couple Rooms, the applicant must be a married couple (international student and his/her spouse).
Family Rooms must be occupied by a family (international student and spouse and their children).
(2) Even if you have not yet been admitted, you can apply as long as you are a prospective student. There will be no secondary application.
(3) Applicants must be able to pledge to abide by the rules and regulations and to live in harmony with others.
(2)Residency period
1 year (October 1, 2025 - September 24, 2026)
No move-in/out on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
In the case of moving out in September or March, the due date will be September 24, 2026 and March 24, 2026, respectively.
Extension of the period of stay is not allowed.

Smoking is prohibited in all areas.
Only those who can definitely move in with their accompanying family can apply for married couples’ and family rooms. Those who don’t meet the requirement cannot apply.
Please note that the residency permit may be revoked if the accompanying family are deemed to be unable to move in,
Residents will be charged rent and common house expenses on a monthly basis even if they only stay for one day.
The use of oil/kerosene heaters in residential rooms is prohibited.
Residents must participate in fire/disaster drills which will be held twice a year.
In principle, those who are approved for admission to the International House must move in within 10 days from the first day of the designated residence period.
