Hiroshima University, in cooperation with the Hiroshima University Co-op, provides various services for moving in, moving out, and during occupancy to international students entering the university who reside in apartments recommended by Hiroshima University. Applications for each residence are as follows: ■ International Exchange Hall / Sun Square Application Period: Monday, February 2, 2026 - Tuesday, February 10, 2026
*An occupancy screening is required for the International Exchange Hall and Sun Square. Screening results will be notified in late February. ■Hiroshima University Recommended International Student Apartments Application Period: First Round: Monday, February 2, 2026 – Saturday, February 28, 2026 *Applications will also be accepted on a rolling basis after March 2, 2026.
※For new international students arriving in Japan or starting studies. ※Available rooms will be added periodically. ※One room per applicant. ※Room changes are possible during the February 2–28 period. Cancellations of reserved rooms are not permitted after the application period ends.
Those wishing to move into a recommended apartment can move in immediately after attending the pre-move-in briefing. (Electricity, gas, and water are generally available immediately.) Rent ranges from "¥20,000 to ¥37,000" (including common service fees). You may choose your preferred apartment.
