Hiroshima University, in cooperation with the Hiroshima University Co-op, provides various services related to moving in, moving out, and living in the university-recommended apartments to international students enrolling at the university.
Applications for each residence are as follows.

■Sun Square
Application Period
July 31, 2026 (Fri) – August 7, 2026 (Fri)
*Please note that an eligibility screening is required for Sun Square. Screening results will be notified in late August.

■ Housing for the 3+1 Program
Application Period
August 1, 2026 (Sat) – August 30, 2026 (Sun)
Notification of Selection
September 1, 2026 (Tue)
*Only students in the 3+1 Program may apply.
*After September 1, please apply for “Hiroshima University-Recommended International Student Apartments.”

■Hiroshima University-Recommended International Student Apartments
Application Period
First Round: Saturday, August 1, 2026 – Sunday, August 30, 2026
Notification of Selection
　Tuesday, September 1, 2026
*Applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis after September 1, 2026. Notification of acceptance for rolling applications will be sent on the next business day or later.
*This program is intended for international students arriving in Japan for the first time or newly enrolled students.

*For those wishing to move into housing for the 3+1 Program or recommended apartments:
・Rent is expected to be revised effective August 1, 2026. Please confirm the current rent at the time of application.
・You may move in immediately after attending the pre-move-in orientation. (As a general rule, electricity, gas, and water will be available immediately.)
Rent ranges from 21,000 to 36,000 yen (including common service fees).
・You may choose any room you like.
